Beginning June 8, Willamette Dental Group offices will continue a phased expansion of care by adding new patient exams and dental hygiene services. Patients with postponed appointments due to COVID-19 restrictions in March, April and May will have scheduling priority.
As always, safety is paramount as additional patients and team members are physically in each dental office. In order to maintain a safe environment, this expansion of care will be measured with improved appointment availability over the coming weeks.
The company is continually reviewing new infection control research and implementing new guidelines and safety measures to contend with risks inherent in the aerosolization accompanying hygiene procedures. Deliberate and focused efforts are underway to ensure the safety of all patients and team members, including additional hygiene equipment, enhanced PPE and work practice changes.
