HILLSBORO, ORE. — Willamette Dental is proud to celebrate its 2026 Hood to Coast and Portland to Coast relay teams, the Plaque Panthers and the Molar Strollers, following their successful participation in one of Oregon’s most iconic annual events.
Known as the “Mother of All Relays,” the Hood & Portland To Coast Relay is recognized as the most popular and largest running and walking relay race in the world, drawing participants from more than 40 countries and all 50 states. The event brings thousands of runners, walkers and volunteers together each year with a shared goal to fight and finish cancer.
Willamette Dental’s running team, the Plaque Panthers, completed the 196-mile relay from Mount Hood to Seaside, Oregon, crossing the finish line in 30 hours and 29 minutes. The company’s walking team, the Molar Strollers, also delivered an impressive performance, finishing in 30 hours, 56 minutes and 12 seconds. The Molar Strollers placed 85th overall out of 255 teams and earned 4th place in their division, with an average walking pace of 14.37 minutes per mile.
