PORTLAND, ORE. – Willamette Dental Group employees and families gathered in downtown Portland in June 2022 for the Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community, including patients and employees.
The company’s P.R.I.D.E. affinity group, representing members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, organized a booth at the festival to share important information with visitors about oral health and career opportunities in dentistry. Team members from all over the Pacific Northwest joined thousands of marchers in the parade through the city, which was back in person for the first time since 2019. The parade was a transformative experience, as the team united together with the energetic crowds of people all celebrating love and truth.
