PORTLAND, ORE. – Willamette Dental employees and their families recently came together at Albina Park in Portland to take part in the city’s 53rd annual Juneteenth festival and parade—a vibrant celebration of African American culture, freedom, and resilience.

The African American Collaborators Network (AACN) @ Willamette inclusion network proudly hosted a booth on Saturday, June 21, where visitors enjoyed lively music, flavorful food, and a strong sense of community as we honored Freedom Day. Valuable information was shared with participants about oral health and career opportunities at Willamette Dental. Willamette seeks a diverse dental team and recognizes that representation improves patient access to care, their perceptions, and outcome of care. The team united with the energetic crowds of people celebrating freedom and truth.

Willamette Dental is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and advancing health equity, ensuring that every employee, patient, and business partner feels respected, valued, and supported. With a strong commitment to eliminating avoidable health care disparities, the organization embraces collaboration across teams to strengthen its group practice and better serve the diverse needs of its patients, clients, and communities.
