HILLSBORO, ORE. – At the end of 2024, Willamette Dental was given a perfect score of 100 by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index. The Corporate Equality Index is a national benchmarking tool that evaluates policies, practices, and benefits that impact lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer employees. It serves as a key measure of workplace equality, with over 1,000 of the nation’s largest businesses participating.
The Corporate Equality Index has been a valuable resource for more than 20 years, continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. We are proud to have achieved a perfect score, and we remain dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all our employees.
This year, we made significant strides in our efforts to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees. We introduced gender transition guidelines to provide comprehensive support for employees undergoing a gender transition, and launched a dedicated LGBTQ+ benefits page, offering resources and benefits to support our LGBTQ+ employees.
