Join the Willamette Dental advisory council!
We want to hear from you! Share your experience to help inform decisions, improve services, and shape programs at Willamette Dental.
The Community Advisory Council helps Willamette Dental understand and respond to the oral health needs of our members and the community.
Who should apply?
Our goal is to build a council that is representative of multiple groups and interests, including Willamette Dental members, parents, caregivers and patients, community advocates and organization representatives, and people who have faced barriers with dental care.
Why would I want to serve on the council?
When you serve on the Council, you can help make your community stronger by:
- Sharing your experience and offering advice to Willamette Dental.
- You’ll also help support programs and services that improve oral health and well-being in the region.
What would I do on the council?
- Learn about oral health benefits included in Willamette Dental insurance.
- Share your experience getting dental care.
- Offer ideas to improve oral health care in Washington State.
- Help Willamette Dental choose which programs and services to fund to support community oral health.
- Join four virtual meetings—one per quarter—each about 2 hours long.
What support is available for council members?
- Council members will be reimbursed for eligible costs like travel, per diems, internet access, and computer use—there is no cost to you.
- We also offer language interpretation and help with translating documents.
